Use of the equipment:
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the equipment is used correctly in accordance with regulations. It is the customer's responsibility to rent the equipment that fits the task and that the equipment is compatible with the customer's other equipment. The equipment must not be used in extreme situations, and must not be exposed to extreme impact of water, salt, cold, heat, etc. The customer is not allowed to service, disassemble or otherwise try to repair equipment, this must be done in agreement with or by European Audiohire.
Supplied equipment:
The equipment is reviewed by European Audiohire before delivery. The customer is welcome to review the equipment together with European Audiohire before starting up with European Audiohire. Upon receiving the equipment, the customer must thoroughly review this, and immediately inform European Audiohire of any visible defects in the equipment. If the customer does not inform European Audiohire of visible defects immediately upon receiving the equipment, the equipment is considered approved by the customer. If the equipment is found to be defect, European Audiohire will, at its own discretion, either replace the equipment with similar equipment (not necessarily the same type and year) or credit the customer's rent. The equipment must be returned to European Audiohire cleaned and in the same condition as it was delivered. The customer must pay full rent for the equipment until the equipment is returned in the same condition as when it was delivered, and there has been a total return of all the rented equipment, incl. cables, manuals, packaging etc. or until the equipment is reported missing and new equipment is acquired. If equipment is not returned in proper and cleaned condition, the customer will be billed on an hourly basis for this.

The customer is responsible for the equipment from delivery until the equipment is returned to European Audiohire. The risk also includes accidental damage or destruction of the equipment and theft of the equipment. If equipment is damaged or lost, the customer must inform European Audiohire immediately. Damaged equipment must be returned to European Audiohire for an assessment of whether to repair the equipment or whether to attempt to procure replacement equipment. In the event of theft, the customer must complete and file a police report. If the equipment is damaged or lost, the customer must pay full rent until the equipment is repaired or new equipment is purchased at the customer's expense.
Replaced equipment:
In the event of theft or damage to equipment, European Audiohire will, if the customer wishes, attempt to procure replacement equipment. If replacement equipment is procured, the customer must, unless otherwise agreed, pay rent for both the rented equipment and the replaced equipment.
Responsibility:
European Audiohire is not responsible for losses resulting from late delivery, incorrect installation, damage to or defects in the rented equipment. European Audiohire is not responsible for damage to real estate or movable property caused by the rented equipment, including damage to films or other equipment. European Audiohire has insurance that basically covers damage to the equipment and theft of the equipment. The insurance conditions can be handed over to the customer if desired. To cover the cost of insurance, the customer is charged, in addition to the rental price, an amount as follows: a) When renting for use in Denmark: 8% of the rental price. b) When renting for use in the EU: 10% of the rental price. When using the equipment outside the EU, the price of insurance is agreed in each individual case based on a quote from an insurance company. Excess on the insurance is paid by the customer and currently amounts to 10% of the value of the equipment, however minimum DKK 10,000. Under special circumstances, including theft from, for example, a car that is not under supervision, the insurance does not cover it. Regardless of whether the customer has paid for insurance of the equipment, the customer must pay compensation to European Audiohire to the extent that European Audiohire's insurance company may refuse to compensate for any resulting damage. In the case where it is agreed that the customer insures the equipment, European Audiohire has the right to demand to see a copy of the insurance policy as well as documentation that the insurance is in force. The insurance must ensure that compensation is paid to European Audiohire. Any dispute between European Audiohire and the customer regarding the rented equipment must be settled according to Danish law with Copenhagen City Court as the venue.
